Tgif - earth colors

This week on Tgif the theme is earth colors. I used an image off a collage sheet by Lisa's Altered Art - take a look at the wonderful images. The quote on this ATC is the first thing that came to my mind seeing the faces of these little ones :))

Make a Moo or two - school

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge, I really enjoy working on moos - maybe someday I will dare to go even smaller and try inchies ;))

Stamps are by Nara Studio

Arty Girlz - Vintage

Arty Girlz want to see vintage this week. This is my entry. It's not really visible on the screen, but some details are highlighted with Perfect Pearls. And I used real vintage mother-of-pearl buttons and some very old lace.

Layers of color

This weeks theme on Layers of Color is Children. This is my first time participating - I couldn't resist for this is one of my favourite themes :))

And this is my entry - The quote is in german and translated it would be something like:

There are three things that remained from paradise: the stars of the night, the flowers of day and children's eyes.

TMTA - turquoise

It's actually a color I like very much - I just don't seem to use it too often. Somehow it looks more like a shade of green on the screen, but I'd say it's turquoise in daylight... ;)

Would anyone like to swap any of my latest ATCs?

Gothic Arches - Shades of white

My entry for this week at the GA challenge blog

tgif - numbers

Enjoying the simple things I made this simple ATC for this weeks challenge on Tgif :)) Stamps by Nara Studio and Time to Stamp.

WS - Summer Tea Party

My entry for this week - Stamps by PSX, Nara Studio, NeuLand, OI

TMTA - eyes

This is my entry for this weeks TMTA challenge...

Skinny Saturday - Hats

And this is also the first time I tried this format - I really like it alot, somehow it's easier to "fill"

Skinny Saturday Challenge

Moo - birds

Yeaeee - I'm really getting things done lately :)) Here is my first try on moos for this weeks challenge - had alot of fun, they won't be the last ones...

tgif - keys

My first entry for tgif - all the time I had a swiss childrens song in mind

"mys Härzli isch zue, chamers niemert uftue, nor es einzigs schlaus Bürschteli het es Schlüsseli derzue"

In english it would be something like " my little heart is closed, no one can open it - but one clever little boy has a key for it"

Mixed Media Monday - monochromatic colours

For a long time I haven't been able to participate in challenges. I'm very happy I finally made it :)) This is my piece for the monochromatic colours challenge.

my favorite colors

Rose and green :)) A bit too sweet and "flowery" in the end but I still kind of like it.

Song of childhood

This is another piece that is pretty big compared to the things I usually make. The picture is lousy, aaaarrrrrrgggghhhh! This one is gone too, so no chance for a better one...

Niblo's Garden

Now I'm going huge! I love this piece but it was quite a struggle because of its size - it's hard to make it look interesting and at the same time not overloading. The box with the boys is an empty cigar box - so you can imagine the size of the entire thing. The very first piece I acctually sold :))

I'm back!

We finally moved into our new "old" house! There is still alot to fix and "rebuild" but I just cannot do without a little artwork ;) So I started off with something very little because everything was still crowded with boxes and bags.

These are some inchies I made.

Gothic Arch Challenge - gypsy

Here is my gypsy... stamps by Beeswax and Nara Studio

TMTA - Fotostempel

Here is my ATC for this week - I always use Ranger Archival Inks for photograph stamps, this one is plum. Stamps by Time to stamp (face) and Stampsmith (word)

Arty Girlz - Buttons

I just love buttons! I could put them on anything ;) So of course I couldn't resist the challenge on the Arty Girlz Challenge Blog This is my first entry for them...

You make my day

Hier die Blogs die ich mir immer wieder gerne anschaue: Fatma Ilonka Ilona Alex Petra Apollox Hermine Rein Saray Gaby YOU MAKE MY DAY! :)

TMTA - Postage Stamps

My entry for this weeks theme:

Wednesday Stamper - Keys

This was alot of fun to make - although very messy... ;) I painted a piece of glass with acrylic colors and scratched away some parts after it was dry. The pictures are glued to the back side (I used some of Rein's freebies - THANK YOU!) Then I stamped the glass with StazOn and used some Distress Embossing Powder for the edges. Stamp by Nara Studio.

Mixed Media Monday - Time

Here is my first entry for the mixed media monday challenge. It's already wednesday - ;) I had a hard time with this one because it is HUGE (compared to the things I usually work on...) It used to be a cabinet door. It's very old so I thought it would be perfect for the theme "time" The old lock is still in it's place... makes me wonder what secrets it once contained...

Gothic Arch Challenge - guardian angel

Here is my entry for this week. Stamps are by Beeswax and Nara Studio.

Gothic Arch - sparkling wings

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge on the Gothic Arch Challenge Blog . I really enjoyed this weeks theme :)) I embossed the wings with holographic embossing powder. Stamps by Beeswax, Oxford Impressions and Nara Studio.

Wednesday Stampers - umbrella

Ok, the umbrella is not exactly the main focus point on this ATC - but the man does have one, you just need to look close... ;)

All stamps by Nara Studio

Happy birthday Heather

Finally I found the time to sit down and stamp again - this is my card for Heather from Fluffy Fatbottoms Twisted Tuesdays challenge blog. Not a masterpiece ;) I guess I need to do some more warming up...

Gothic Arch Challenge - Let's party

here is my entry for this week... These girls don't look too happy about their little party though ;)) Maybe I should add partyhats *lol*

Wednesday Stamper - Children

This is probably one of my favourite themes - I tried to capture a tiny bit of the colorful world of childhood that seems to be full of birds and flowers and berries... :)) I could go on forever.

Stamps by Nara Studio and Beeswax.

Geschenk von Petra

Dieses wunderschöne Freundschaftsbuch und die geniale Karte habe ich von Petra bekommen. Die Farben sind einfach der Wahnsinn!

This was a present from Petra... you should see the colors in real life - they are amazing!

Fluffy Fatbottom's...

... Twisted Tuesday Challenge was "Where was my head?" That is such a fun and at the same time tough challenge that I had to give it a try...

TMTA - Mask

My entry for this week;

for Nancy

This is the gothic arch I made for Nancy. Read more about it here

Nancy, I wish you and your family all the best for the difficult times that lie ahead. I've never been good at finding the right words to say so I'll just leave you the translation of the german stamp at the bottom:

He will put his angels in charge of you to protect you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11

Gothic Arch Challenge - Flowers

My entry for this week - this was a hard one for me - I definetly need more flower stamps... ;)

The background is done with Distress Inks, stamps are by Time to Stamp, StempelTempel and Beeswax.

Wednesday Stamper - Autumn Colors

Here is my entry for this week... very late once again...

Stamps are by Oxford Impressions, Paper Artsy and Beeswax.

Thanks for looking :))
